AM General Focuses On Customer Readiness For Today

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., March 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- As customers around the globe continue to seek out the readiness, reliability and affordability only offered through the HMMWV family of Light Tactical Vehicles, AM General will have representatives on hand at the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) Global Force Symposium & Exposition, Mar. 15 - 17, Booth 510, at the Von Braun Convention Center, Huntsville, Ala., to listen and work with customers to help solve their critical force readiness needs.

Light Tactical Vehicle Modernization: With approximately 230,000 HMMWVs currently fulfilling the role as the backbone of tactical missions around the world, AM General plays a vital role in listening to its customers, understanding their unique requirements and offering innovative and affordable solutions to ensure these vehicles remain mission ready.  One prime example of this is the first of its kind, highly successful public-private partnership between the National Guard Bureau, AM General and Red River Army Depot, which provides affordable, upgraded and enhanced capability HMMWVs to significantly improve readiness of National Guard units nationwide.
